An expanded meeting of the Council on Science and Technology was held at M. Kozybayev North Kazakhstan University, chaired by the Akim of North Kazakhstan Region, Gauyez Nurmukhambetov.

During the meeting, strategic issues concerning the development of the region’s scientific and technological potential were discussed, as well as mechanisms to strengthen the interaction between science and the real sector of the economy. The central event was the signing of agreements to establish scientific-production consortia involving 16 enterprises from the region.

Almas Nurmagambetov, General Director of PJSC S.M. Kirov Plant, participated in the Council’s work. Within the framework of the event, the enterprise also signed a joint cooperation agreement aimed at introducing innovative developments and modern technologies into the plant’s production processes.

The signed documents formalize the parties’ intentions to implement joint scientific projects, commercialize developments, and train qualified personnel. This form of collaboration contributes to the creation of a sustainable “science – production” ecosystem, ensures technology transfer, and enhances the competitiveness of domestic industry.

The establishment of consortia opens new opportunities for modernizing regional enterprises, implementing advanced solutions, and strengthening North Kazakhstan Region’s position as an industrial and scientific center of the country.
